When you’re playing poker offline, you have the ability to use different tactics that include being aggressive, unnerving your opponent with eye contact, and baiting opponents using fake tells. When you are playing poker online, you can’t look at your opponent’s face and use any of these tactics.

Which Is Better?

Beginner poker players want to know which type of poker is better. Many advanced players will argue that playing poker online has more benefits than playing offline. In other matters, playing poker online means there aren’t any tells to read, there isn’t a lot of pressure, and you have a better chance of knowing your hand and playing better.

Making the Best Choice

Although expert poker players recommend playing poker online, you may find you are comfortable playing offline at first, then graduating to online play or vice versa. The best choice depends on your comfort and the different tactics you would like to use.
